The Recruiter will fulfill the tactical objectives as a team leader who is able to make effective decisions quickly for OMNI Financial through hiring and retaining employees. The Recruiter will develop and implement recruiting plans and strategies, striving to bring in the best people to fill our needs. Ultimately, the Recruiter will manage our recruitment to ensure we hire qualified employees to meet our company’s current and future needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Knowledgeable about labor legislation and employment law.
  • Ability to seek out professionals with the right combination of experience, education and skills to fill a particular position.
  • Work with department managers to develop recruiting plans for their department and write job descriptions. In order to find candidates who, fit the position and have the potential to become valuable additions to OMNI Financial.
  • Align the hiring process, beginning with screening applicants and interviewing potential hires, followed by making recommendations, writing offer letters, conducting reference checks and negotiating employment contracts.
  • Identify recruiting opportunities by researching new sources for talent, cultivating relationships with industry professionals and networking with college placement officers.
  • Able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals.
  • Represent OMNI Financial at public events, such as job fairs and community job outreach programs.
  • Effectively develop, utilize and conserve organizational change management, human resource metrics and statistical research, workforce planning and financial management.
  • Make informed business decisions based on data and statistics.
  • Develop strong recruitment packages and measure their success.
  • Possess cultural sensitivity, confidentiality and a strong sense of self-confidence.

 

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy.
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.
  • Screen candidate’s resumes and job applications.
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Promote OMNI Financials reputation as “best place to work”.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

  • Holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates.
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter).
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.).
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.).
  • Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc.).
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Updating current and designing new recruiting procedures.
  • Keeping track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-fill and cost-per-hire).

  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform managers about changes in regulations.
  • Participate in job fairs and career events.
  • Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners.
